I'm trying to think of why exactly he wants to go back there. I get that it was his dad's place, but he actually just got back from seeing his dad. I can't quite figure out his reasoning for wanting to go back. From what I can gather, they're still not really welcomed there, especially considering the grandmother's reaction.
