Recently discovered Juathuur, read all of both parts in one sitting, and I love it all. Great job, Gammyun!
@The gender thing: Actually, I read “How do you know it’s a he?” to mean “How do you know it’s a person?” rather than “How do you know it’s a male?” If that’s the case, then “We are dealing with a demigod” is a perfectly legitimate answer to Faevv’s question.
He could have said it’s a demigod to cover up that he really has no clue who it was and he still wants people to think he’s big a strong! i wouldn’t put it past first, he’s a guy after all *laugh(because you know it’s true)*
the “how do you know it’s a he?” in my opinion, really just means, “how do you know anything about him?” Like how did they learn of this person, and what else do they know? and if they had the power to know of this person (once they answer her, she’d ask) why didn’t they simply do something about it then and there, why arrange a big meeting to address the issue? It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of this follows up.

“It’s a demigod” may answer the sex question if there’s a known quantity of demigodlings, and all are male.
