Woo, this is going to be amazing. the end of a story, the start of a epic tale. i hope to see alot of surprises in the new comic. i read your whole entire comic in a week, some of the best story work ive seen in a while in a web comic. Can’t wait to see some more amazing artwork.
Yeah the good ol’ days of that update schedule are over I’m afraid. One of the things I had to sacrifice to go the colour route and still preserve my sanity, lol. I’m hoping I can push it to three days later on when I get faster though
Woa, your colorings skills have improved a lot! Ofcourse it’s almost impossible to update every day with that much coloring work to do. How did you improve so much so fast? It looks great:)
I’ve been practicing with commissions and such But mainly it was biting the bullet and taking the extra time per page. And the break worked wonders. Now I’m all refreshed and ready to go.
@Kirothius - her tat kinda gradually changed as my style changed in the old comic; this is how it ended up looking in the later pages. I liked it better, so as I refurbish the old pages for print I’m changing it - those changes just haven’t made it to the web yet XP. And glad you like her new look!
@Dee - hmmm indeed
@Stanni - I haven’t really timed from start to finish yet, it depends a lot on how much detail there is, but probably somewhere between six and eight hours?

Awesomeness. Love the color and stuff… though I still wonder about that tower.
I’m spreading the word of your return, btw.

great, i’ve waited for this for long. good to see this.
about the colors, i prefered the yellow-brown style, but if you think pink is more accord your new story, hey, it’s your story.
thx for coming back, it was a long wait.

Been waiting for this with baited breath for far too long; and Katie, you don’t disappoint!
I love Faevv’s new look, much more mature and hotter than ever… she almost oozes sex appeal without trying.
One question though… did Faevv’s shoulder tat get changed? (judging from memory and the cover)

YERSH!! And there’s sorcery. Joy in a bottle of catsup!

Hmmm… I wonder if she’s in the same dimension/reality as was depicted in the predecessor comic?
It seems that the people are using bows and swords and not the various paths and stuff.

Katie, how long does it take you to create a page like this one?

I see. So, perhaps the abilities and arts the Juathuur have aren’t that widespread?
March 1st, 2008 at 1:22 pm
Well I shouldn’t give it away… but she’s not in Kansas anymore.
March 1st, 2008 at 1:58 pm
lol Katie… tell them to go read the old one to figure it out… *hint: it’s something that merlu did and got bound to the tree for…*
March 2nd, 2008 at 6:48 am
Yup, I’d say I’m 99% sure it has something to do with that errant she has to do.
Makes a nice entrance to the comic, anyway, gets the tongues wagging^^
bow and arrow, huh? Nope, she’s definitely not where she came from, or they would’ve most likely been using those gun-like weapons.
I wonder what’s up with the magic, though. There’s so many possibilities to what she could do…

lol, look at this page and compare it with the first page of the first comic.
you art’s come so far!
[is actually a bit proud]
