Well folks, it’s time for another contest.  This time I’ve got not one, not two, but THREE challenges for ya.  So hopefully there’s something for everybody.  Why enter?  The amount of winners will depend on the amount of entries, but at least one lucky person will get a copy of Juathuur: vol 1 - signed by me  ;)  other worthies could snag some giftart and of course there’s the fun of seeing all the entries posted on the site.

The first challenge requires nothing but wit and some basic image editing software.  The Lost Page Challenge is your chance to put your own spin on a Juathuur page:
In the cluttered and dangerous realm of a dark closet, a long lost page was discovered from Chapter 19 of Juathuur: One Way or Another. Unfortunately, it was never lettered, so the meaning of the images and the dialogue that went with them have been forever lost.  It is now up to you brave readers to fill in the blanks.  Below are links to the lost page - complete it by adding text/dialogue using whatever image-editing software you have at your disposal and send the newly lettered page back to me.  Feel free to colour and otherwise pimp it up.  Absurdity, buffoonery, and and all forms of tomfoolery are highly encouraged.

The Summer Heat Challenge is designed for all you artsy-inclined folk who’d like another shot at trying some fanart/fanfic.   Summer seems to be the time when the Juathuur get into trouble, so let’s see your interpretations of what makes some real Juathuur summer heat.  A tough battle? A beachside romance? A barbecue that finally answers the question what do the Juathuur eat?  Medium is completely open - art, story, poetry, it’s all good.

And last but not least, I’m throwing out the Look Alike Challenge to you all.  This one requires nothing but a camera.  Do you think you or someone you know could pass as a Juathuur?  Bears are remarkable resemblance to a certain character?  Maybe you or they would just look cool in a Juathuur tattoo?  Be brave and send in a photo along with any explanation you think would sell it and let us be the judge.  Cosplay not necessary, but hey, if you wanna go there…

In honour of Canada Day up here in canuck territory, this week’s incentive comes in red and white ;)  Hope all my fellow Canadians are having a great holiday weekend and everyone else is enjoying a kickoff to a great summer.  I’m sure glad to have some time on my hands now, because today’s page was kind of a killer!

Forgot to put this one up earlier, but thought Ushaed’s new Gatecrash look should get some love too

This week’s incentive features the Gatecrash “upgrade” of Juoira, who can be spotted in the background of the latest page. In case anyone is confused by her new look, yes, both she and Ushaed have acquired new tats… hopefully anyone who has read the final chapters of the old comic will get the reference.
